TRUSTEE ASSOCIATION, ZUG

The Trustee Association, Zug was founded in 1986. It is an autonomous, strong interest group in the Zug region that is independent of supra-regional professional organisations and sees its activities as complementary to those of other industry organisations.

Trust, professional ethics and integrity play just as central a role in the fiduciary sector as professional qualifications. For this reason, around 70 individuals from the fiduciary sector have joined forces under the acronym ZTV in order to maintain and further develop the professional quality criteria of our profession in the canton of Zug.

The Trustee Association, Zug maintains particularly close relations with the authorities, the Zug Chamber of Commerce (ZWK) and the Zug Tax Association.

In the complex environment of clients, authorities and numerous legal regulations, trustees must do justice to the interests. Qualification criteria for the professionals in this service industry and the formulation and compliance with professional ethical guidelines are therefore essential prerequisites for creating and maintaining credibility and trust.

The Trustee Association, Zug has set itself the goal of making a significant contribution to maintaining and promoting the reputation of this profession in the Zug region. Its main concern is to promote mutual trust as a link between companies, administration and financial services and at the same time to represent the interests of trustees in the Zug area.

Strict membership requirements and the obligation to comply with generally accepted professional ethical principles are paramount. Members are not only subject to high demands in terms of specialist training and practice. They are also obliged to comply with ethical guidelines when practicing their profession.

On this basis, a relationship of trust with clients, authorities and third parties is sought and achieved.
